Scholarships

Corn In exchange for room, board and an education, each student pays an inscription fee of $100 as well as brings 100 pounds of corn and 50 pounds of beans. This amount alone does not cover the cost of their education, so the school relies heavily on the generosity of donors.

Student scholarships, given by generous hearts from other countries, allow indigenous youth to receive an education. A scholarship of $800 sees a student through the entire school year, which runs from January to October each year.

Pots A gift of $400 sees a student through half of the school year. For any gift of $400 or more, donors will receive a photo of the student whose education they are assisting with.

All donations to Fundameno are tax deductible with 100% of donations being used toward the education of an indigenous youth.

Please specify on the check how the monies should be used (building fund, scholarships, special projects).
